As a psychodynamic psychotherapist developing a caring and trusting bond in which my client feels safe, heard and understood is my top priority. After several years of training and engaging in my own personal therapy, I am deeply aware
of how vulnerable the process can be and I am pleased to offer insightful and compassionate support to others.
Psychodynamic refers to the understanding that we are not always consciously aware of the origins of our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Our past experiences imprint upon us mental and physical patterns of perception and reaction which can determine how we experience the world, ourselves, and relationships with others. By identifying and understanding these patterns we can begin to enhance self awareness , gain new insight into and meaning of our sense of self, as well as the ability to consciously choose to change the patterns that no longer work for us.
